A Place Where Stories Begin Again
Nestled on Historic Route 66 in the heart of downtown Stroud, Venue 1922 stands as a living piece of Oklahoma’s history.
Built more than a century ago, this building has always been a gathering place — for families, neighbors, and travelers passing through.
Today, its walls echo with new laughter and fresh beginnings as it transforms into a one-of-a-kind space for weddings, showers, reunions, meetings, and celebrations of every kind.
At Venue 1922, we’ve brought new life to an old soul — keeping the character that makes it special while adding every modern touch to make your event effortless and unforgettable.
Restoring History
Every brick, beam, and tile has a story to tell.
When we began restoration, our goal was simple: preserve the craftsmanship of 1922 while building for the needs of 2025 and beyond.
The original tin-tile ceiling, the stone exterior, and the woodwork details were all carefully restored to maintain the building’s historic charm.
Now listed on the National Historic Registry, Venue 1922 stands as a proud reminder of Stroud’s resilience and community spirit — a bridge between the generations who built this town and those creating new memories here today.
Our Vision
We believe beautiful events don’t need to happen in generic spaces.
They should feel authentic, rooted, and real — just like the people celebrating them.
That’s why Venue 1922 was created: to give guests a place that feels timeless, personal, and warm.
Our vision is to keep this historic building alive through community, connection, and celebration — to fill it once again with the music of laughter and the joy of togetherness.
Whether you’re saying “I do,” hosting a corporate luncheon, or celebrating a milestone, you’ll feel the difference the moment you walk through our doors: history beneath your feet and inspiration all around you.

MEET THE OWNERS
Jerred and Kristen have deep roots in Stroud — a small town that has shaped their lives and values. When they found the 1922 building, they saw more than aging walls; they saw opportunity.
After years of use as a community conference center, the building was ready for a rebirth. With a shared passion for history and design, they poured time, heart, and countless late nights into transforming it into a warm, versatile, and meaningful venue.
Their goal was simple: create a place where people feel at home while celebrating life’s biggest moments.
A Space That Feels Like Home
Venue 1922 isn’t just another event space — it’s a reflection of Stroud itself: friendly, hardworking, and full of heart.
Every detail — from the vintage tin ceiling to the soft lighting and open layout — was chosen to make guests feel welcome and inspired.
Whether you’re hosting an intimate dinner, a grand reception, or a simple get-together with friends, Venue 1922 offers a space that adapts to your style and your story.
Because this building has always been about people — and now, it’s ready for your story to become part of its history.
