Before You Book

We’ve made everything at Venue 1922 as simple and transparent as possible.
 Here’s what you need to know before reserving your date.

How do I book the venue?

All bookings can be made directly through our online calendar.
 Choose your time block(s), add any optional upgrades, and pay securely to reserve your date instantly.

Full payment is required at booking. All rentals are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once (see below).

Life happens — we get it.
 If you contact us at least 14 days in advance, you can request a one-time reschedule within 12 months of your original booking date, subject to availability.

Every booking at Venue 1922 includes:

  • Full access to the venue during your reserved time block(s)

  • Tables & chairs (setup options available)

  • Full kitchen use

  • Central heat & air

  • ADA-accessible restrooms

  • Wi-Fi and Smart-TV capability

Private parking

Yes — alcohol is allowed for private events only, but must follow Oklahoma ABLE Commission guidelines.
 Requirements:

  • Must be approved in advance

     

  • Alcohol cannot be sold (BYOB or private use only)

     

  • An off-duty police officer must be hired through Venue 1922 for the event

     

The safety of our guests and our community is our top priority.

You have two options:

  1. Self-Clean (no additional charge) – Return the venue to the condition you found it using our simple checklist.

  2. Cleaning Add-On ($75) – Let us take care of it for you.

Self-clean checklist includes:

  • Trash removed and placed in bins

  • Tables/chairs returned to original position

  • Decorations removed

  • Floors swept

  • Kitchen surfaces wiped and appliances off

The Hideaway is our optional game and lounge room — complete with arcade games, a card table, a 75” Smart TV with gaming consoles, and comfortable seating.
 It’s perfect for kids, adults, or as an overflow hangout during large events.

Available as an add-on for $50 per block.

Yes. Venue 1922 features modern central heating and air conditioning to keep you and your guests comfortable year-round.

Venue 1922 comfortably accommodates 75 to 100 guests, depending on your layout.

We’re open for private rentals from 9 AM to 11 PM, depending on your selected blocks.

Yes — we welcome decorations that respect the integrity of the historic building.
 Please avoid:

  • NO TAPE of any kind on the floor
  • Nails, screws, or tape on walls or ceiling tiles
  • Glitter, confetti, or open flames 

     

Battery-operated candles are allowed.

Any damages to the building, furnishings, or equipment will be billed separately to the renter.
 We ask that all guests respect this historic space so it can continue to serve our community for years to come.

Venue 1922 – Terms & Conditions

📅 Booking & Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your date and time block(s).

  • All bookings are non-refundable.

  • Rentals include access to the venue only during your reserved time block(s).

  • Set-up and clean-up must occur within your rental period, unless add-on services are purchased.

  • Add-on services (such as setup, takedown, cleaning, or The Hideaway) must be selected and paid for at booking.

  • A card will be kept on file and may be charged for damages, excessive cleaning, or policy violations.

🔁 Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made at least 14 days in advance may request a one-time reschedule, subject to availability.

  • The rescheduled event must occur within 12 months of the original booking.

  • Reschedules are not guaranteed, subject to availability and must be confirmed by Venue 1922 staff.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations.

🚫 No-Show Policy

  • If no one from your party arrives within 1 hour of your rental start time, the booking will be considered a no-show.

  • No-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

🧼 Cleaning & Damage

  • Renters who decline the cleaning add-on are responsible for leaving the venue as you found it such as:

    • Removing all trash and decorations

    • Wiping down tables, counters, and surfaces

    • Returning tables and chairs to their original layout

    • Sweeping or vacuuming visible debris

  • If the venue is not left clean, a $150 cleaning fee will automatically be charged.

  • Any damages to the venue, furnishings, décor, or equipment will be billed separately.

🪧 Capacity, Access & Facility Use

  • Maximum occupancy is 100 guests. Exceeding capacity may result in immediate event shutdown without refund.

  • Early entry or late exit is not permitted unless additional time is booked in advance or approved in writing in advance by Venue Staff.

  • Doors will be unlocked at the beginning of your rental period and must be vacated at the end of it.

🎈 Decorations

  • Absolutely NO TAPE of any kind on the floors. 

  • No nails, screws, staples, glitter, or confetti.

  • Only decorations on walls may be used.

  • Decorations must be removed before your rental period ends.

🍾 Alcohol & Security

  • Alcohol is allowed only with prior approval.

  • An off-duty police officer is required and must be scheduled through Venue 1922 ($25/hour, billed 5 days before the event).

  • Failure to comply may result in immediate shutdown of your event without refund.

🚭 Smoking & Vaping

  • Smoking or vaping is not permitted indoors.

  • Outdoor smoking is allowed at least 100 ft from entrance and in designated areas only.

🔊 Music & Noise

  • Music and amplified sound must remain at a reasonable volume.

  • Venue 1922 Staff reserves the right to request volume adjustments if necessary.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Guest Conduct

  • The renter is responsible for the actions and safety of all guests.

  • Children must be supervised at all times, especially in The Hideaway.

  • Loud, disruptive, unsafe behavior, or activity that bothers neighboring properties may result in early event termination without refund.

🔥 Unforeseen Events

  • Venue 1922 is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or interruptions caused by events outside our control (including severe weather, natural disasters, utility failures, or government restrictions).

  • Refunds are not guaranteed in these situations but renter will not be subject to 14-day advance notice of rescheduling.

  • A rescheduled date may be offered based on availability; no reschedule is guaranteed.

  • Renter agrees to hold Venue 1922 harmless in the event of circumstances beyond the venue’s control.

🧰 Approved Vendors & Contractors

  • All outside vendors must be approved in advance by Venue 1922.

  • Renter is responsible for ensuring vendors follow all venue rules and guidelines.

  • All vendor setup and tear down must take place within the renter’s reserved time block.

  • Venue 1922 is not responsible for vendor performance, delays, or damages.

⏰ Overtime / Extended Use

  • Events must end and all guests must exit by the end of the reserved time block.

  • Early arrival or late departure requires additional rental time to be booked in advance.

  • Unauthorized overtime will result in additional fees charged to the card on file.

🛑 Liability

  • Venue 1922 is not responsible for accidents, injuries, lost property, or theft during your rental period.
